Job Title: Experienced Delivery Manager Location: Eastbourne (3 days in office per week)
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Delivery Manager to join its agile development team. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding the team to efficiently deliver high-quality software products and platforms. This role requires strong leadership in agile methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitating the planning and execution of agile practices.
Mentoring agile teams to deliver high-quality software following lean-agile principles.
Collaborating with project managers and sales teams on product/project roadmaps.
Overseeing the coordination of development sprints, removing barriers, and mitigating risks.
Tracking progress, managing dependencies, and monitoring velocity/productivity metrics.
Leading daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Communicating updates, priority shifts, and changes proactively to stakeholders.
Managing project tools such as Jira Software and Jira Service Desk.
Ensuring all development output meets the required quality standards.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban).
Strong servant leadership skills.
Technical background with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coaching abilities.
