Job description

We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our clients team as a contractor working within the .NET framework to support and further develop our clients  Ecommerce site in conjunction with integrated systems and processes. Our client provides school holiday childcare at over 40 venues in England.

Main purpose of job:
Responsible for design, developing and maintaining efficient and reliable software-based solutions that meet customer and business expectations.

Main tasks of the job:
• Demonstrate structured development skills with the ability to understand software from a business and user perspective.
• Translate specification into technical solutions and document solutions.
• Interpret user requirements and support the QA process.
• Develop, test and maintain software to require standards to agreed timescales. 
• Adhere to technical, security and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to create forward thinking and innovative solutions.
• Supervise day to day activities of the system and provide support whenever necessary. Requirements of the role:

You will be expected to perform other job-related tasks as requested by management and as necessitated by the development of this role and the development of the business.

You would be expected to provide a minimum of 4 days per month support, including weekly Teams review meeting. It is expected that this time would reduce to 2 days per month after the first 6 months.

Any project time or support time required beyond the standard 2 days per month would be payable by invoice on a monthly basis.
 This role would suit a contractor who works with multiple clients concurrently and can dedicate a few days a month through a mix of support and project development work.
