Job description

Who We Are

We are a data led fan marketing company, but first and foremost, we are sports fans. We understand the unrivalled passion and dedication of supporters towards the clubs, leagues and players they care about. We use technology to capture real-time fan consumption data and have enterprise scale third party data integrations enabling our clients to gain a deeper understanding of their fans, going well beyond who they are and delving deeper into their behavioural habits and fan characteristics. This approach allows our partners to drive business intelligence and to deliver relevant and timely content and marketing messages to fans. Our fan facing technology products include over 25 official mobile apps to multiple globally recognised sports organisations and clubs including:

  • Formula 1

  • Sky Sports

  • ECB / ICC / IPL

  • 14 Premier League / Championship football clubs

  • The Rugby Football League / Premiership Rugby / PRO14

  • World Snooker

  • Euroleague

We have seen rapid growth in our short history and now have a team of nearly 120 across Europe.

The Role

The Frontend Web Developer will be part of the fully remote Frontend Web development team - building solutions to support well known clients across Europe. We predominantly use VueJS with Nuxt.JS for web development - with deployments either containerised to allow Server Side Rendering on our Kubernetes cluster, or running as a JAMStack solution on AWS Amplify. Our Frontend Web development team is supported by both a team and a tech lead as well as our Technology Director.

What you’ll Do

  • Developing Server Side Rendered (SSR) and JAMStack websites

  • Developing sites for large sports organisations as well as our own internal Digital Experience Platform (DXP) - Bridge

  • Developing at scale - our sites are often very highly trafficked – especially around fixtures release or big game weekends

  • Building content, marketing and communication tools for sports clubs to communicate with fans

Who You Are

  • A passionate Frontend web developer with at least three years experience building websites on a well-known framework such as React, Angular or VueJS. At least two years commercial experience with VueJ.

  • At least 3+ Years of experience in the industry with Javascript frameworks

  • Some experience in containerisation with Docker / Kubernetes would be beneficial as our stack is built upon these technologies

  • Knowledge of AWS and its services would be desirable

Why You’ll Love It

  • Fully remote working, no return to office!

  • Competitive salary

  • Being part of a multinational and fast expanding team of sports lovers

  • Discounts and concessions from various sports organisations and clubs

Lastly, we are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability status.
