Job description

Do you have experience with Classic Autosar and embedded software development for Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs?
Do you enjoy taking getting into deep technical discussions with your clients' engineering teams to uncover problems, blockers and come up with first class solutions?
James Chase is working with a highly successful, niche automotive engineering company based in Munich to hire a future leader for their embedded software team.
You'll be working with cutting edge technology and some of the leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive space

What you'll do:
  • Configure and integrate Base software stacks according to Customer specifications
  • Be involved in the full BSW Workflow 
  • Take responsibility for suggesting and implementing architectural designs and decisions
  • Debug code and solve errors, documenting your work to a high standard
  • Support Project Teams in integrating and using the Platform
What you'll need:
  • Deep knowledge of classic Autosar and experience of configuration / integration work
  • Embedded C experience (writing, understanding code) and Microcontroller basics
  • Debugging experience (eg. Lauterbach or iSystem)
  • Experience with at least 1 Autosar relevant Toolchain (DaVinci, Tressos, etc)
  • Basic CANoe operation (Communication packages / basic Diagnostic operations )
Even better if you also bring:
  • Experience working with Aurix Microcontrollers
  • Experience with at least one OEM specific Autosar Extension (BMW, GM, Daimler, VW etc.)
  • Automotive Bootloader (FBL) experience
