What You’ll Do 
They are seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant who will partner with the company’s customer-facing teams to sell their AI Solutions. The role of this consultant is to understand the customer’s business challenges and use expert knowledge of the AI platform and solutions to deliver a compelling proposition with strong emphasis on the value they can deliver. In this role you will establish yourself as a ‘go-to’ expert internally and externally. 
This role sits within, a growing entity within the Group which offers AI-powered Solutions to customers with use-cases in risk.
Based in the UK, the person can work remotely with travel to the London office on a regular basis. Ability to travel on a short-term basis could be required long-term. This is a role supporting activities which span the global business.
 
What's Required  
  • Understand the customer’s business challenges and pain points using market experience, by playing an active role in sales meetings as well as leading workshops
  • Create compelling demonstrations and presentations of the Solutions demonstrating what problems they can solve, the positive impact and potential value they can deliver
  • Manages creation of solution design documentation, which describes proposed solution, including technical and functional requirements, uses cases, and high level solution approach
  • Collaborate with sales to address customer concerns to ensure a balanced commercial decision can be made and all internal impacts are being assessed 
  • Play a key role in POCs with customers, being responsible for framing the overall solution approach and agreeing success criteria
  • Contribute to RFx for example being accountable for the functional and solution elements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in the business and be a go-between across groups such as Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Operations etc.
  • Support Product Marketing with domain expertise, helping to shape content and messaging to drive impact in the market and resonate with their target customers
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Professional Services teams to propose a potential solution to a customer as well as ensuring a smooth handover following a successful engagement
  • Help determine the direction of the Platform and Solutions based on market experience and interactions with customers
  • Contribute to internal enablement sessions including new starter onboarding sessions
 
Qualifications, Strengths and Skills
  • A bachelor’s degree with related subjects e.g. business, computer science, maths a plus 
  • A minimum of five years working in a sales environment or demonstrable experience in working with sales teams 
  • A minimum of five years working within the financial services industry within or around the fraud, identity verification, or credit decisioning disciplines
  • Experience working with AI / Machine Learning / Advanced Analytics software, as a minimum, demonstrating basic capability
  • Experience with enterprise technology, basic programming, integration patterns useful, but not required
  • Strong understanding of API based services a plus
  • Awareness and understanding of data from 3rd party sources extremely valuable specifically from where and how the data could be captured, rights to use. Proven experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent planning skills with ability to prioritize and manage a variety of work
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Team player who builds trust and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving business strategies as we grow
