Job description

Our client is a leading provider of online practical-based education focused on procurement and supply chain training, with a global presence and an impressive track record. They are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team and drive quality and innovation in our web applications and services.
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for automating end-to-end, functional, and regression tests, ensuring the highest standards of software quality. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications and services.
  • Collaborate with development and support teams to identify test requirements and create test plans.
  • Design, write, and execute test scripts and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and report them in the bug tracking system.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience in test automation using industry standard tools, such as Selenium WebDriver or similar.
  • Solid programming skills in at least one programming language like Java, C# or other.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools, such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
  • Proficiency in working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
