A Senior Azure DevOps Engineer is required for a brand new and exclusive role. The client in question is a rapidly expanding software house focusing on the RegTech/FinTech space.
This role will lead and mentor colleagues in the technical buildout of a highly secure, redundant and operational cloud infrastructure during all phases of the application and service release lifecycle that embraces the DevOps methodology.
The right candidate will have the following experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
Experienced in the design and delivery of Microsoft Azure enterprise-level solutions including security, governance and high availability.
Proficient understanding of Azure Cloud:
Platform as a Service products (e.g. Azure SQL, WebApps, AppServices, Azure App Service Fabric, App Service Environment & Azure Kubernetes Service)
Identity and Access Management products (e.g. Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services)
EM+S products such as Intune, Azure Rights Management and Cloud App Security
Application monitoring, auditing, and telemetry (e.g. App Insights, ELK etc.)
Infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools (e.g. Terraform, ARM, Bicep etc.)
Pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
Cloud security best practices and tools (e.g. Security Center, Sentinel, Firewalls, WAF’s, DDoS, Anti-Malware etc.)
Proficient understanding of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Perl)
Familiar with Agile methodology.
Experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC), architecting scalable platforms, object-oriented programming (OOPs), database design and agile methodologies.
