James Chase are currently looking for a Senior Data Architect for a prestigious education sector institution, to support the Head of Data Strategy and Architecture in developing a coherent data framework/approach, promote its communication and achieve organisational buy in for an enterprise wide data strategy, whilst defining the roadmap(s) for its implementation.
The senior data architect will need to ensure the data strategy underpins the wider data related organisational strategies and operating model in a clear and demonstrable way.
You will be responsible for producing enterprise and information architectures that are fit-for-purpose to meet the current and future needs of the organisation, whilst supporting the business in their decision making.
Please note this is hybrid working structure (1-2 days in the office ideally).
Key Skills and Experience
Significant experience in Data Architecture
Strong understanding of Business architecture
Data Transformation project experience
Experience in Information strategy definition and associate data operating model/framework
Exposure to Business strategy definition
Exposure to team leadership, development and management (managing a team)
TOGAF certification
In addition an understanding of business and data environments e.g. applications, databases, etc, an appreciation of data integration and data management capabilities and an understanding of data modelling/data views (current and future states) are key knowledge areas for this role.
