Job description

Contract Position - £400 per day (Outside IR35 Contract) - Hybrid

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SharePoint Developer to join our clients IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions. You will work closely with business units to understand their requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions that enhance collaboration, content management, and process automation.

Responsibilities:

SharePoint Solution Development: Design, develop, test, and implement custom SharePoint solutions and applications to meet the organisation's specific needs, including workflows, web parts, and integration with other systems.
Data Management: Develop and maintain data-driven solutions, ensuring secure data storage, access control, and compliance with data governance policies.Resolve issues promptly, even under stringent time constraints and business pressure.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing issues and maintaining system stability.
Integration: Integrate SharePoint with other systems and platforms as required, enhancing the flow of data and information across the organisation.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for custom solutions, configurations, and best practices.


Requirements:

At least 5 years of IT Experience in complex Microsoft development areas.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
Proficiency in SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and SharePoint Designer.
Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, site structure, and administration.
Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft Power Platform, and Office 365.

This role operates on a hybrid work strucutre and requires a couple days in the Chelmsford office, and the occasional UK travel required on an ad hoc basis.
