We are delighted to be working with a fast-growing Martech Startup, with a truly people-centric culture, to recruit a Finance Manager with a keen eye for efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
This is a newly created role in which you will:
Own the Accounts Receivable Process: Manage billing requests from clients across the globe, oversee payment arrangements and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
Step into management: You’ll offer guidance and mentorship to one of the team. Support with your expertise and encourage their continuous learning and development.
Strive for excellence: You’ll continuously review processes, aiming to bring and optimise efficiencies of the billing department. Minimizing bad debt, resolving payment issues and working together with non-finance colleagues to ensure positive client relationships as well as educating new colleagues so that they understand the importance and the best practises for billing and payment follow-ups.
Monthly Financials for Performance Reporting: You’ll ensure accurate and timely reporting for monthly/Quarterly bonuses and work closely with Key Decision Makers on Commission and bonus structure reviews.
Expenses: As second reviewer of expenses, you’ll ensure that these comply with company policies and identify trends in order to ensure best practise.
What you’ll ideally bring:
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and invoice processing.
Bachelor's or master’s in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong experience with invoicing / Client Billing / Accounts Receivable
Sound Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and exposure to international tax requirements.
Ability to work in an international Startup; Comfortable with continuously reprioritising and able to build great relationships with your wider non-finance colleagues.
Professional fluency in English is a must. German would be an advantage.
