We are currently seeking a Group Accountant focusing on IFRS to join our client, a leading global provider of digital video content, technology, and advertising solutions.
What you’ll do:
Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements under IFRS and individual financial statements under HGB, and act as the primary liaison for auditors.
Evaluate and account for contracts and business transactions according to IFRS and HGB.
Create memos and factsheets to document and communicate complex accounting issues.
Execute and optimize the consolidation process for group financial statements under IFRS.
Prepare analyses and presentation materials for management and stakeholders, focusing on balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, and KPIs during monthly and quarterly closings.
Develop and implement processes to optimize finance and accounting procedures and participate in various projects.
What you’ll bring:
Degree in economics, ideally with a focus on accounting, group accounting, or controlling.
Experience in finance and accounting or with a reputable auditing firm.
Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and HGB accounting standards.
Strong analytical skills and deep insights into finance and accounting processes/systems, including proficiency in MS Office products.
Proficient in German and English (C1 level).
