James Chase is partnering with a Martech Startup based in Berlin, to recruit a Lead Key Account Manager to join a small, growing team.
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join the team, to manage and expanding relationships with key consumer brand clients.
In this role, you’ll be ensuring that clients maximize the potential of the platform and services available and you’ll be able to work closely with the founders, directly impact the growth and success of the business.

What you’ll do
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Account Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the use of products and services within existing accounts.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Confidently manage and engage with C-level stakeholders, including CMOs and Heads of Social Media, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Product, Operations, Tech, Business Development)
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor account performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
What you’ll ideally bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales account management, preferably within the Digital Marketing, Social Media, or Influencer Marketing space.
  • Proven track record of managing and expanding relationships with big consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of social media and influencer marketing trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Business Fluent German and English
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and engage with C-level stakeholders, including CMOs.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites and company events.
